you cannot go swimming without a tampon while on your period even if it is close to the end of it.

It would be fine to go swimming, but you will need to wear a tampon. You shouldn't wear a pad or it will swell up like a diaper! If you think your period is almost over and you don't want to wear a tampon, then you could just wait a few days before you go swimming.

No you cannot go swimming if you are not using tampons. Ask your friend is she has a tampon or two you can borrow or ask someone to take you to the store to buy some. You should never ever swim on your period without a tampon or menstrual cup in place.

YES you can go swimming without a tampon. I used to do it all the time when I was a teen. Especially if you're at the end of your period. Just make sure you have a dark swimsuit on and bring a colored or dark towel just in case. If you are packing your suit, carry a pad with you just in case and wear one to the pool, then change into your suit, then when you change to leave, you can put another pad on just in case. But it's perfectly fine to swim without a pad or tampon in.
