I'm not in love with the newer stuff, but the legacy overall is fabulous, as is his voice. I own most of the stuff he has recorded, but the early work is still the best. I really like "Bang Masters", his outtakes album, which is worth it for all the alternative renderings of the classics and for "Joe Harper Saturday Morning". And "Listen To the Lion" from St. Dominic's Preview - another gem that people seem to overlook.

I listen to him frequently. I regard him as one of the greatest singer/songwriters ever. I like his old stuff mostly, but he had a song on the Proof Of Life Sdtrk called I'll be your lover that was awesome. My favorite song by him is "The Way Young Lovers Do" followed by "TB Sheets". Is he outdated? I suppose that is strictly a matter of opinion. I certainly don't think so. :)
