The kids books and adults books have the exact same story in them, they just have different covers. The adult's covers were created because adults wanted to read them but were embarrassed to be seen reading them in public.

I have bought them all in kid's covers, I'm not embarrassed (at age 32)!

The only difference in the books are the covers. The children's version have the more cartoon-ish looking Harry while the Adult version is supposed to be a little darker to convey the subject of the books. The difference was created so that adults who purchased a copy wouldn't feel completely childish reading the series. The wording inside is completely the same.

They are the exact same thing, they just have a different cover. Personally, I find the British part to be sort of ugly, so if you're in the UK, I would get the adult version just because it's more aesthetically pleasing. :)

There are kids and aduts versions?
I thought there was just one.
Read the main one. The orginal that JK Rowling wrote. If you are 21+ then why would you want to read an easier novel.

Read the original and adult version!

I would say the adult version cuz it`s more descriptive of the dark side of the story, which even the movie does not include. (otherwise it`d be too long)

no difference in the child and adult books except the cover illustration, so get the ones that are the cheapest to buy regardless of cover lol

Kids. The fonts bigger.

Oh, it's the same text, so don't be confused. There isn't any difference. It's just the way it's presented.
