I am the queen of laughing at the wrong place and time. The worst was at my uncle's wake. We were all really over tired from waking early and driving out of state to get there. My sister and I sat next to each other. A woman came up to my uncle's open casket and started taking pictures. My sister and I looked at each other in complete confusion and both burst out laughing. We were laughing so hard that everyone (except our family) thought we were sobbing. My mom made us leave so we walked down the aisle, both doubled over laughing ( snorting-- the works). My uncle would have thought it was pretty funny too.

I once had a laughing fit during a music theory test in high school, but I cannot recall what set me off... needless to say I failed. I had another laughing fit during a driving school class, and it was because the British teacher told us a story and during the telling of it he imitated an American accent.... after awhile I had to get up and leave the classroom... in both cases, the more I tried to stifle my laughter, the worse it got. Another time when i was in church I had the same problem, I was about 12, and cannot remember why... but the other churchgoers were not too impressed.

Too many times!! But, I'll tell you the one that was, in my opinion, the funniest.
My best friend got tickets to a kinda dark (and overlydramatic) Russian opera called The Queen of Spades. I mean there was a skeleton hanging from the top corner of the stage, black everywhere...it really was over the top.
Well, we were joking about it during intermission..."ooooh, I'm soooo scared!!"...that kinda thing...and then when intermission was over, the curtain goes up and what is sitting in the center of the stage? A skeleton on a throne...
I just COULD NOT hold back the laughter...which of course made it much worse...not only that, but when I really get going with the laughter I, unfortunately, make this really terrible seal-bark sound that escapes...
You can imagine how the rest of the audience felt about me...I just got up and ran to the back until I was able to control myself...
That was my last opera, btw. ;-)

I've been here trying to edit the story. So I don't get a violation notice for telling it. But then I would have to leave out the funny part. So let's just say. I was among women and we were talking about sex. We were on break. After the break there was a meeting they had a speaker. While he was talking, We saw something that reminded us of what we had been talking about. We started giggling. And once I was amused it just kept getting funnier. And I louder. I couldn't control it. I was practically crying from laughing.

OMG....Yes! I was at Bob Evens and when my grandma left a tip some of my coke spilt on a dollar bill. When the waiter came and picked up the tip, my grandma said," You're just gonna have to dry that dollar off!" The waiter was new so he picked up the money and was shaking. He replied,"Oh, I get them all the time." I just started laughing.....And I almost choked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my cousin farted when we were having a family prayer, I had to leave the room, I was laughing so hard I was crying. This was many years ago, he's a lawyer now.

I did, thankfully it was outside the funeral home and I managed to pull it together before I went in. I think it was just nerves that set me off really.

Yes. I felt really bad, too, because my friend's dog died{when we were 12} and I could NOT quit giggling. I found out from doctors and medical articles that this is a nervous reflex sometimes.
