What is it exactly?
I know it's ''something'' to bypass Starforce protection system, but what is it exactly??

Well, may I suggest that you ask this question in the computer section? Starforce protection system applies to CD-ROM, to prevent copying. It was called "star" only for commercial reasons.
This name has nothing to do with astronomical stars.
