and the asker picks the dumbest answer out there? it annoys me. i mean i have given some good answers that make sense. erghhh. not that i care about the points but still

I think sometimes the easiest answer to read is picked.
When you give a long drawn out answer it's a turn-off....at least I think so.

Or I give a really good answer based on experience, get 20 thumbs up from people, and the asker picks his lover as the best answer. Makes me wonder why he even posted the ? to begin with.

Sure. I answered a question last night, got 12 thumbs up & 0 thumbs down & a lame answer was picked!! What's up with that.

i think a lot of times people pick their contacts. because some times what wins best answer has nothing to do with the question that was asked.

Whoever answers first seems to have an upper edge on being picked as the best answer.

sure you care about the points.. if you did not you would not have posted this question.. for me i really don't care about the points.. i just like to answer questions it fun and i have a lot of stuff on my chest.. i don't care if the person that i answered to don't read them or the other people. i only answer the question that mean something to me..

not to be rude, but i think it might be a relfection of the asker's thought process...i think there are some people who ask even serious questions to see what dumb answers they can get. it's all about why you Y!A!!!
