it sounds like addiction and every addiction is the same kind.. maybe there is something thats deep down bothering you or upsetting you...so take some time out and try to think about...sometimes there problems we're dealing with that our mind cant sense but our body easily does.....eating is not bad..unless as you say its constant so the only way you can get rid of a problem is to find why it is there in the first place and then replace it with something eles...less damaging maybe like a yahoo addiction which will NOT cause you to gain any weigh =).. well you can always mail me if you wanna talk or anything... =)

I like FEVER!!!'s answer on this. Yes, you should find something less damaging to your health. I would hate to see another person as fine as yourself, who is so willing to try and find a better way, suffer from obesity or the consequences that can arise from it.
If you like food that much, why not take a cooking course or maybe cook at a local shelter for others. I found that part of the way to take away the obsession was to feed others and share food. If I baked a pan of brownies, I gave half away to someone special. If I made a dish of Lasagna, I invited others to share. Something about cutting it in half and providing someone else with a blessing made me feel better than eating did. I still got to have food and I was even happier. I hope this may help some. There is hope. You just have to find the 'sweet-spot' that suits you.

I think you should go see a therapist about that love - it can lead to health problems. Oh and find healthy nice tasting things to eat in the mean time. I like granola. No I lied - I LOVE granola. ;)

honestly, thats where i just get super pissed off, have an ultimate breakdown and begin to change my ways right there and RIGHT NOW. its happened more than once, and then my "evil thoughts" seem to come back, as i would like to call them. but somehow i always go back to my 'normal' ways (eating everything in the damn house)

You may have a derpression problem you are not aware of. You have not tried counseling yet have you? You need to be seen to determine of you have a form of depression or not.

I'd see a therapost. There is obviously something missing in your life that food is a replacement for.

If you WANT to eat, eat some healthy food. If NOT, then I would try counseling or something.
