Anytime you ever roll your eyes up to Heaven and declare "I will never....." keep in mind that God looks back and says, "Wanna bet?"
I have sworn I would never date a short man. Married a 5'2" man and had the best years of my life before he died.
I have sworn I would never grow up in Ohio. Lived in other states many times and yet still here in Ohio.
Swore I would never marry. Done it three times.
Swore that I would never be a nurse, teacher or secretary. Made good money at all three professions.
Swore that I would die of embarrassment before I ever asked some charity for a hand-out because I was homeless. No, I didn't.
God and I are anxiously awaiting the next promise.
