Iced or hot, green or black, tea is very good for you. I've never understood why people would ruin the taste by sweetening it - bleeech! Don't worry about the slight diuretic effect as long as you drink water as well. And do try hot tea: nothing else is both soothing and energizing in the same way...I especially like Earl Grey tea. Oh, yes, be sure you use BOILING water to make tea - just hot water does not make good-tasting tea. Ummm, think I'll go fix myself a nice cuppa. You may want to confine yourself to drinking tea before mid-afternoon, though. The caffeine can make it hard to get to sleep.

Depends on the tea- I don't like my iced tea very sweet, so some are fine to me unsweetened.

yes. my fiance and i only drink unsweetened teas at home. we have all sorts of flavors though not just lipton. when we go out we add sweetener though.
