you should be able to because this should be considered a lay off in other words you are unemployed by no fault of your own.

Yes. The general standard is that you are unemployed through no fault of your own. Unless you were an officer in the company, you should be eligible.

Yes, contact them asap tho to get money. I lost a waitress job cuz the kitchen of the bar closed down due to not meeting code or whatever. I filed and got it!
