after being diagnosed with a sebaceous cyst on my labia minora and going through the nastiness of an incision and draining, i am now on ofloxacin (antibiotic). could my sore armpits be due to that antibiotics or something else?

The antibiotic will not cause you to be sore. It is a swollen lymphnode that has taken some of the infection. your broad spectum antibiotic that you took should take car of it. In the meantime you can take motrin for the pain which will help.

your sore armpits are not due to the antibiotic. It's because you have lymph nodes in that location. When you have an infection your lymph nodes (which are part of the infection system) may get a little bigger and feel sore because they are working hard to combat the infection. It will pass soon.

Infections often irritate the lymph nodes, some of which are in the armpits.
