Well, I certainly do not think of God when I look into the night sky as some of your respondents have suggested. What I do is try and identify particular stars and turn to where I expect to see them. Usually I spend a few moments sweeping my eyes across the horizon looking for possible shooting stars. Mid August is supposed to bring us a lot of meteor showers and there is nothing quite as amazing as watching them shoot across the skyline. Where I live there is a military air base fairly close by, so I often look for various military aircraft
taking off, or landing.
