i asked my girlfriend this question, she said women had to use twice as many words as men do. I was not listening, and got her to repete her answer.

Depends on what the subject is.If its sports,golf,hunting,or fishing its men.If its gossip,shopping,sales,or their job, then its women.
I say they talk equally the same amout of stuff..

I think it's pretty equal. Now if you're asking who gossips more....definitely women we tend to be pretty catty.
