I don't give them the chance to attack when I can help it and I block people who attack others for no apparent reason so they never have a chance at me.

You bet. And sometimes that is exactly what is happening.
but keep in mind that there is only limited space to write, that it takes some time and that it is sometimes hard to put down your thoughts perfectly. So what seems like animosity is not necessarily so.
