Can't tell how big it actually is. There's a bug I remember seeing occassionally that we called a "stag beetle", which was probably two inches.

If you think that's gross, try the tree roaches you sometimes see down south that are even bigger.

Looks like a beetle to me. And that's nothing. You go to the amazon, you'll see HUGE beetles. A bit bigger than the palm of your hand.

What color is it exactly?? Hard to tell, is it orange-brown, or black, or a iridescent green? If orange brown, then it is a potato beetle "June bug". If black-- dung beetle. If it's shiny-green, it's a Japanese beetle

It's a dung beetle or otherwise known as a scarab.

yes, they like to fly into our flat through the windows in the summer. there big, but very nice, it's like a cat with a hard shell.

It's either a dung bettle or a scarab beetle. and yes they are that big.
