I generally don't drink coffee -- does that make me totally incompetent?
(Though I do gladly serve coffee to special friends....)

Absoluetely!! Coffee (caffeine) just enhances the feeling that we are alive and can move on. Other enhancers include looking in the mirror when we first wake up, looking at the recent bills that were in the mail and realizing today is your partners birthday and you haven't shopped yet. They all get ya going............competent........ or not!!!!

Definitely. I have coffee about three times a year. Cold drinks are my thing, all year long. Jay Leno's like that, too, I found out one night while watching "Tonight."
