turn key and hear slight clicking. dom light is on but when i turn on headlights they dont shine and dome light goes dim. no radio. is this my battery, starter or alternator or a combination of all of these? the battery is 3 years old.

It's probably your battery although your alternator may be a contributing factor if the belt is loose or the alternator has also gone bad. Least expensive thing to do is to replace the battery first. If it eventually gets weaker and goes out on you, then the alternator is probably bad.

1. Your battery is flat.
2. Take it out & charge it.
3. Start the car and check the lights are all nice & bright.
4. If the lights dont get slightly brighter as you rev the engine, then its the alternator.
5. If everything works until you switch it off, then its the battery.

Sounds like the battery but if the alternator is not charging it will cause the battery to go flat

THE BATTERY IS THREE YEARS OLD AND MOST BATTERIES ONLY LAST THREE YEARS EVEN THOUGH THEY SOMETIMES SAY 72 MONTHS.

REPLACE THE BATTERY, START THE VEHICLE AND KEEP AN EYE ON THE ALTERNATOR.

If the car runs normally after a jump start.. it's the battery.

I'd get the altenator checked out, that, and replace the battery
