This is probably a good idea. As a swimmer, water somehow gets in your tampon as well. So even if you are having a lighter day, water takes up some of that "precious tampon space"(tee hee)

Of course you can! It's actually a very good idea if you're going swimming, since the tampon could get some water and regulars will protect you better.
P.S.: It would have been much worse if you wore lights during heavy flow days :) So your idea is just good.

Yes. That's what regular tampons are for and when I wear them. As long as you change them every 7 or 8 hours you'll be okay.

Why would desire to you want to apply popular once you should use the min tampons for easy days. i'm against the assumption. they're going to make you very dry and it will likely be perplexing so you might insert the sparkling one. Mini tampons are safer and lots extra mushy for the final days.

That's the idea! Just remember to use the lowest absorbancy that will accomodate both your flow and that little extra water that will sneak in, to avoid developing TSS
