I have a really hard time dealing with goodbyes. I lost my mom when i was very little and shortly after that my sister was killed by a car, then my brother died from an overdose, than grandma passed away. two years after that my two neices were shot and killed then my daddy died and in between that I fell in love with someone and would have cut off my arm for him and he left me and married someone else and I never let go.
So as you can see I had to say goodbye to a lot of people and it was a very very painful goodbye. I am very bad with dealing with saying goodbye because of that pain I feel in my heart from a very bad memory.

I would say, Goodbye, for in this you always seem to go over in your mind that which you did not do. And that includes all the regrets you may have, all the hateful things you said and all the things you left unsaid, because you couldn't either say I am sorry at the time or there after, and if you did you could never forgive, but upon the final GOODBYE, it all seems so small, so insignificant and totally without merit.
Having just one more minute to take back those words, and most of all the actions that lead to the words. Yes, Good-bye is the hardest.
Remember, every word, that is uttered out of your mouth stays within the atmosphere forever, wondering all over the earth in the wind to bounce and touch all living creatures forever. Think always before you speak: will your words be kind to all of us as long as the Earth is in motion?

Goodbye.
It's final and the saddest thing you could possibly say to anybody. Especially if you know you'll never see them again.
It may be the hardest thing you ever have to do. From leaving home to losing a loved one, goodbyes are everywhere in life. Whether it's the comfort of a relationship or the security of a job, when you're confronted with loss, it can feel as though you're losing a part of yourself.
Why would anybody want to go through all that sorrow?

I'm sorry can be the hardest because of a thing we humans have called Ego! But once we fight this flaw, I think goodbye is the hardest as most of the times we just wish if only we could avoid this goodbye! When you part with someone or something it is always a separation and most separations are painful! Well at least for me it is!! :-)
Thank you

For me, saying "Goodbye" is only a close second place. I really *really* don't like to lose friends and acquaintances, and it takes a *lot* of nastiness and trouble to get me to the point to where I don't want to even see someone anymore.
But...what's at first place is...."I Forgive You", because really, what that boils down to is saying "I Don't Hate You Anymore."
And I am sorry, but there are a few people on the face of this planet who have not only done wrong, but they've also done *evil*, and those folks shouldn't be let off the hook. Some few people *deserve* the hate that they get....sometimes hatred is justified. It's rare, but necessary.
So to forgive someone who has done something *evil*, especially directly to me and my loved ones, I can't abide by that, and won't. I think I've forgiven maybe once or twice in my life, *ever*. If that. I try to forget the small stuff, but if something is big and nasty enough for me to remember (those "Goodbye" moments, for example), then yeah, I do not forgive. It just hurts too much to think about...nobody ever does it for me (there's always strings attached and some sort of clause in there...which isn't real forgiveness, that is mere forgetting on an if/then/else clause).
So yeah. "I forgive you" is the hardest one for me, with "Goodbye" in a close second.
Thanks for your time. ^_^

I hate you cause all in all. I hate you is a combination of I dont love you anymore and goodbye. Im sorry isnt that hard to say unless youve really screw up but most of the time goodbye is harder sooo..If I hate you is goodbye then I hate you is the hardest to say. Now forgiveness isnt hard to say but its hard to ask for. I love you is suppose to be a happy moment. Im still waiting to say that. But if I had to pick to say which is the hardest...I would have to say I hate you.

I can only speak on behalf of myself. Personally my order would be, from hardest to easiest..
1.) I don't love you anymore
2.) I hate you
3.) I love you
4.) I forgive you
5.) Sorry
Apologising can both be the easiest and hardest word to say for me. The word 'Sorry' escapes from my mouth with ease, 100% of the time. Because, I have only had to say 'Sorry' for small things, nothing drastic. Unless I mean what I am saying, I will not say sorry! So when I am truly regretful, then apologising is effortless. It also depends on who the person is! If the person is somebody who I love with all my heart and care for, then saying sorry can sometimes be harder! Why? Because your afraid of their reaction, whether they accept your apology!
Although you may have lost your love for somebody, you are likely to still care for them. You wouldn't want to hurt them or break their heart! Lots of people break up with each other by text or email, I think thats so wrong and cowardish! Enrique Iglesias talked about having 'a mutual respect' and hes right!

thats easy goodbyez are the hardest...having the feeling of not seeing anyone ever again, not having someone in your life that you'ave known, wanted, been with is the toughest ofcourse even if its for a short amount. .... sorry is hard to say especially when you're wong but it only helps you and makes things better...i forgive you...is hard but that also helps...i love you totally sets you free and lets you know everything you need to know, i dontloveyouanymore has the same effect just later...but goodbye that meaningz its all over", it kills all the hope for a future, for everything....i just hate that word. =)

I'd never say "I hate you" to anyone; frankly, I don't understand the meaning of the word "hate." Does one really have to say "I don't love you anymore?" Isn't that something that should be obvious, & sensed by the other person? I wouldn't have a problem with saying I'm sorry, if it came to an understanding that I did something that hurt someone unintentionally, to forgive is fine if not having to say it too often! But goodbye--I believe that is a painful thing to say, regardless of the circumstances. If someone is going on a journey that will make them happy, you'll still miss them, even while you're glad for them. To say goodbye to someone dying....

I'm sorry. Because it is the only statement among these which denotes an error on the part of the speaker. The rest imply a kind of compliment to his ego!
And Enki, just a few hours ago I saw the same exact question posted by someone else (I don't remember who) and it was a resolved question ; I couldn't answer it. Happy I'm answering it here.
