Here's a sneaky tip look in the phone book, under lawn maintenance, call different place and ask them what would they charge you to for your lawn to be cut, trimmed, blow away the clipping, and racking to be done, pretend you are the the person with this lawn. Call about five different places and get quotes, this information should give you a ball park figure on what is being charged out there, it's a good idea to come in at a some what lower price, lets say $7-$10.00 lower to break into this service area.

Well, depends. If you have an area with lots of trees and loops, you can charge more.

I pay my son $10 for the front, $10 for the backyard and $5 for a strip between my fence and the neighbor's.

Call around and get an idea of how much people pay, and then see what is fair for you to ask. Build up clientele first, before you raise the price!
