Do you get a farmer's tan?

sometimes i wear a hat. a straw one as a matter of fact!! and i chew on a piece of straw too!! and people drive by and honk and wave at me too!! then i stop and drink some lemonade. and yes i do have a farmers tan!!! is there any other type of tan???? you rube!!!! you don't know anything!!!

I have to wear a hat and shirt and sunscreen. I'm pasty white and within 15 minutes of direct sunlight I'm already blistering. I don't know why I'm so sensitive to sun, but I've always had this problem. I have a lifelong farmer's tan at this point. When I rip off my shirt (disregard my fantastic pecs and abs for a minute) the sun literally scorches me within minutes. Sunscreen is so nasty and slimy I hate putting it on, so I usually end up purple and peeling.

My son is 32 and mows the lawn no he doesn't get a farmers tan. He is biracial and just gets darker lol.

Australia is famous for our sunshine, so Yes I do wear a hat whilst mowing the lawns.

I do. You should protect yourself from the suns rays, and also heat exhaustion. You will want to wear a hat that is well ventilated, though. Heat escapes your body through the top of your head.

I don't need to wear a hat cuz my house is in the woods. I have very fair skin though, so I usually get a little sunburned somehow...

I do and I also wear long sleeve tees and long pants. That protects me from the sun and my allergies.

no I don't mow the lawn
I try to avoid the sun & work together--its too hot to work in the sun!!!!
