I would excuse myself and go home. I had obviously walked into the wrong house.
If it was my house, and my husband, I would enjoy the whole thing but wait for the other shoe to drop.

I'd think someone messed up big time and is now a huge butt kisser!!!!
Okay, I work more hours than my boyfriend (he makes more $$ but I'm also a college student) and he will NOT clean the apartment, he will not do laundry, he will not take out the trash, he will not even clean his damn cats poop box. I clean all the hamster cages, the cat box, feed and water all the animals, do dishes, laundry, all the chores...what do I get? Nothing. Okay I get massages every night..woopdidoo. I deserve it after all the chores I've done. So ontop of 8 hour days at work I go home to study (college is not easy!!) and do chores...HOW FUN IS MY LIFE!!!!!
I am so glad I do not have children. I wouldn't be able to do it...I get no help at all.....

From a mans point of view do not read between the lines. Not all men are pigs no matter how popular this opinion is. I have been married 21 years and still enjoy doing romantic and nice things for my wife. If you want it to end just question his motives ( if there is nothing else he has done to make you wonder) and he wont do it again. Peace Out!

I would enjoy it but In the back of my mind I would be thinking he did something wrong especially if he did
this out of the blue, no special occasion, birthday, or holiday.
Edit:
Krista that is funny! I might do that to because my husband
would never do those things out of the blue.

I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. He was trying to do something nice for me or show me that he appreciates me. Maybe he read an article or heard the idea on John Tesh or something.

I would think either
A) I was in for a great surprise
or
B) He did something really really bad or stupid. I would love for it to be A but more than likely it may be B. I am not married though just my thoughts on other marriages I have seen.

.It tells me that he is a very loving husband & that he loved me. What is wrong with doing something nice for your wife out of the blue....that is the best time to show your love for someone ....when it is least expected.

I feel it was a set up. Why doesn't he just help with stuff without needing a reward. It was a nice genture though.
