Here in Europe, alcohol, like a glass of wine with a meal is not a problem. Do you mean that this adult got them drunk or just gave them this European glass of wine?

The pot is a different matter. One's views on marijuana legalization are irrelevant. A child was given an illegal substance bought from a criminal which may contain who knows what else and then was allowed or even encouraged to smoke something highly carcinogenic.

Not trust them any longer. Did the parents them self do it, or the other kids. Got get all the info on that. If it was the other kids, no big deal...However, if it was the parents I would be asking my child what else went on, after all, drugs and alcohol are generally given for a reason.

Turn them in if your kids hadn't had that before. If they're already doing pot and alcohol I would never trust the person again. Probably turn them in anyway. You know they're going to do it again with someone else's kids.

I'd confront the parents and ask them why they didn't ask your permission since it is your teen. They don't have the right to choose whats right for them, if it was their kid then fine...but its not. I wouldn't let your teen go with this family so often after this because they are making decisions for your teen with out your consent, that's wrong, whether you would have allowed it or not.

First of all ask my child why they accepted it?

Then I would explain to the parents of your child friend that I wasn't happy and why. If need be contact the police; but, I don't think much will happen. (You will probably be told by the police to not allow your child to be with her/his friend again)

You can not control what they do in their house. You can control what goes on your house.

If it was me I wouldn't let my kids go on holiday with them again. In fact when my kids were little I didn't let them go on holidays with any one else but me and my family.

When I have kids if any adult gives them drugs I will put a bullet in their head. The alcohol would depend on the circumstances.

Call the police. This person is guilty of a felony: endangerment of a child. Be strong. You may like this person, but you need to do what is right. Frequently when people do this, it's to take advantage of them sexually.

I would lose all the trust I did have for them and report them to the police, for giving my child and someone else's child these drugs and alcohol. It is illegal and they should be punished for doing it.

I am sure if they was trusted that would not occur, but then again well I am not going to go there, , if that occur make sure that your teen is okay medically speaking , and never allow your teen be place in that situation again.

My kid would not be seeing their kid again.
I would report them to the Police.
That happened with my kid years ago.
The mother of the other kid, ran over her own kid, drunk, in the garage a few months later.
