Centigrade to Fahrenheit
a.
F = (9/5) 20 + 32
F = 36 + 32
F = 68
Temperature = 68° F

b.
F = (9/5) (-15) + 32
F = - 27 + 32
F = 5
Temperature = 5° F

Fahrenheit to Centigrade
a.
C = (50 - 32) x 5/9
C = 18 x 5 / 9
C = 10
Temperature = 10° C

b.
C = (23 - 32) x 5/9
C = - 9 x 5/9
C = - 5
Temperature = - 5° C
