So, the Iraqi people want the US gone, and the US people want the US gone, and the Iraqi govt says we can leave, and Congress says we should leave....
It seems like Bush is the only one wanting us to stay.
When exactly did we become a dictatorship when one person gets to make all the decisions and ignore everyone else?

I consistently theory the term stay the path replaced right into a tragic decision of words because of the fact it implies a bunker mentality. It won't be able to be denied that we want new recommendations for Iraq and have for awhile, yet our technique must be one centred on triumphing the day. we can win in Iraq and it won't be by using following the concepts of the ISG. mutually as a good number of what replaced into mentioned in the rfile is authentic their conclusions quantity to a backdoor renounce. If we would want to win in Iraq what we want is for the politicians to end attempting to run the conflict and turn it over to Generals. whilst politics drives the process any conflict the outcomes are consistently disastrous. This vogue began in Korea, persevered into Vietnam and is now being employed in Iraq. you will think of we'd have found out by using now.

Hmmm... So you think that pulling all the troops out is a smart idea? I would rather have troops who joined the military because they want to fight for their country in danger rather than withdraw all the troops from Iraq and let a mediocre security force over when al-Qaeda rebuilds to be stronger than they were before because politicians and the media tries to control warfare, which they know nothing about.

It's really gonna get interesting if Maliki insists we leave, Bush refuses, the Iraqi Army that we've armed and trained takes up the Jihad, and turns against us,and then the ability to leave becomes much, much more difficult..The old adage is "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink", Well, you can offer help to the Iraqis ,but you can't make them accept it...(after they choose not to)

I don't think it is a right wing thing. I don't believe we can leave now and I am not right wing. I don't think the PM truly believes it himself. We will have to maintain a presence for sometime in this mess. The outcomes are either not very good or worse.

Oops, I asked the same question at the same time, it just hasn't been posted yet.
Maliki is facing a no confidence vote in parliament. Bush and Cheney might pull strings and have a new prime minister installed.

Well, it looks like it's down to one man in the world who thinks the USA should stay in Iraq. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
