Many people these days have their questions and answers on PRIVATE MODE. Also, they don't allow fans to connect to them. Why?

I think that sometimes people can disclose a lot of information about themselves over a period of time through questions and answers.
There is also the possibility that someone may search through your questions and report them for whatever reason.
I think that I have only had one person become a fan of my Q & A initially,everyone else I have added myself as a fan of their Q & A first.

Probably because they don't want someone following them from question to question for the purpose of being a troll or thumbs down everything. And they don't let fans connect because they've had abusive people flame them. Mine is open and twice I have had really rude responses. They have too, obviously.

I have a theory on this.
I think these people possibly trolls who continue to lose their accounts and don't want to bother with anyone.
Just a guess!

They only want to know theirself, all their vices?!
They don't want to be bashed?
They don't care if anyone is a fan of theirs.
It is their perogative.

because they are weird and maybe paranoid about their own questions.
