Yeah. I've seen it several times. In the techni-color phase of movie-making history, no one dared to show Jesus above the ankles.
If you like movies of Jesus from the 50s and 60s come to Austria for Easter. For two days of the Easter holiday, they show every imaginable Jesus movie made before 1970, and "Die Robe" is always one of them. There's an old black and white movie, forget the title, made in Spain, they do show Jesus and he comes across like Charles Manson with a faraway eyes.

I liked the total plot of the movie..... I like the way they portrayed Richard Burton dealing with his guilt...... Now that was a well acted case of mind over matter.... And I like the way Richard and the love of his life went to their death that to was a well photograph scene....
