im on Yaz b.c. and ive been taking them about 30 min. late once in a while....i was supposed to start my period this morning, but i didnt...ive always started at this time...whats wrong?

30 minutes late is not that big of a difference. When you skip days etc that increases the risk for pregnancy. Sometimes the period may start later or earlier depending on certain conditions within your body. When you take the white pills that is the time you are supposed to have your period. The reason for the white pills is to keep your cycle normal every month. They don't do anything but keep you on the pill taking schedule.

You should start your period at sometime during the placebo pills. It doesn't always have to be the exact same day. As long as you have a period that starts during that time, you are fine. There is no restrictive time for sexual activity while on the pill as long as you have been taking it regularly. If you forgot a pill, take it as soon as you remember as well as the pill due that day. If you miss 2 pills, use a barrier method until you start your next period. I f you don't start, do a pregnancy test and call your doctor for further instructions.
