I think it will be between the Brewers and Cubs, the Cardinals have too many pitching problems that is getting bigger every game and it is discouraging the offense, we are getting behind too early in games. We are having the same problems like last year. I think the Cubs are a better team, they just need to get their chemistry together and they will win the division. Honestly all the teams in the central arent that great this year, the Brew crew will be around for awhile, I think they will fade but they are a good team for the future of the Central and it may not be that long we see them in the WS.

The brewers will continue to falter their time is next year once their enitre team matures a bit...they are still too young to make a push for teh division down the stretch. The cubs well, they are the cubs and will falter because their cursed. The cardinals have a really good chance at making a second half push. They will soon be getting carpenter back which will be like making a blockbuster trade since he has started one game this year and should help them the rest of the season and win them atleast 10-12 games by himself. My dark horse for the NL central though are the pirates, yes laugh if you want to but they are only 9 games back with half a season left to play. Heading into the all star break adam laroche finally looked like he figured things out and began to hit pretty well. They will prolly look to bring in a good veteran arm to boost their chances at the deadline , and they should be able to do it considering they have so many young pitching prospects. Freddy Sanchez's early season struggles have concluded and his average is on the rise and they should be getting some season and good 2nd half hitting and speed from chris duffy once he comes off the dl (look at his numbers in the second half of the year they are stellar compared to those in the first half)...so my prediction cardinals win it but i dont count the pirates from this race

I'll take the Cubs to win the NL central. The Cardinals are history. No chance of them coming back.

Cubs will go to the playoffs and win the Central and that will stop Cuban from buying the Cubs.

Cubs been hot and the Brewers mostly got all their offense from one player and they also have a young offensive so they will start to get tired soon and the pressure MAY get to them. Cubs will get a strong second half from their pitching staff and mostly from Zambrono an Soriono will start hitting HRS.

Damn the thought of someone else winning the Central but my Astros, but it won't be them this year. I still think the Brewers will take the division. I just can't see the Cubs keeping it up the whole second half. They are the Cubs after all.

the brewers will manage to pull away witht the division title. but the cubbies will be only 5 games back or so. the cardinals are screwed. they are about 11 games back. the braves (my favorite team) fell in teh same hole last year, and they didnt recover. so im going brewers with the title, cubs will be a few games back, and the cards, they dont have a chance.

The Cubbies will overtake the Brew Crew and will win the division.....ever since Pinella's tirade the Cubs are pllaying up to their potential......Pinella has juggled the lineup to the point that it is set well.....the starting rotation is solidifying and bull pen is more than adequate......Cubs have above average power.........look for the Cubs and Red Sox in the fall classic.....what a series it would be...oldest ball parks in MLB.......it truely would be a CLASSIC.....look at page 59 in the latest SI.....they see the same match-up
