I am a firm believer that Americans "Do not Know Anything about the world" except what they hear on CNN... I know and believe this because I once lived there for 26 years... I am 33 years old now. I was born in the Philippines but grew up in Louisiana, U.S.A. For 26 years I myself thought that there was no other country greater than the good Ole U S of A.... But I was given the opportunity to work in the UK... Actually I was working in the North Sea on a Drilling Rig... That was 2 years ago... I have since then "NOT" been back to the US. But I now reside in my home country (which to me is paradise) the Philippines... And do not plan to ever return to the US... You know the Americans have a saying.... "America love or leave it" Let me tell ya, they can have it because (Not All) but most American are so shallow minded that they are oblivious to the beauty that the rest of the world has to offer. I mean why do you think more and more people are leaving the country... And they can thank Bush for making the reputation of Americans as "The most hated country in the Free World." Thanks for letting me Vent,,, I really hate that country !!!!!!!!

Yup, it's pretty much true. I hear these "Man on the street" interviews on the radio, where a question is asked. And it's amazing what some people don't know. Questions like, "the origin of Independence Day", "where's the Pacific ocean?" "is Alaska a state or a country?" It's rather discouraging.

Kind of weird that so many other countries send their ppl here to be educated by us!

But the Americans I know, know a lot of the world but that's because they are expats and have been around a lot. I doubt if the average mid-westerner knows more than his home town.

Its true that most Americans are ignorant to the world and other countries around them..but that doesn't mean that we wanted it that way. In my high school I was required to have 3 American historic classes, and only one global studies class. I have to say, I thought global studies was much more interesting than American history.

America is dying, but that is a good thing since they kill people for money. Americans are worse than hitler, he killed people coz' he was fuc*king mad, and a nationalist of course. But american leaders kill people for money - for the fat oil platform owners and the people that supported their campagins.
Most of the world hates USA.
Don't think that we are jelaous, coz' the scandinavian countires are much greater that US of A. There is vertually no police in Sweden, there is no crime, there is 0% unemploynment.
USA sucks.
In the USA national math team, there are none americans, ofcourse there are few chinese, a few indis and e few eastern europian. Americans are stupid.
But this is ok if you take in consideration that such thing as American - doesn't exist.
The only good thing that came from america is SOUTH PARK series.

these things are silly because they are looking to make news. stand on any street corner and interview 200 people walking past. you will easily find 20 that will give you stupid answers. when you edit the film to only show the stupid answers you give the impression that everyone is stupid. where in reality it is only 10%
