No. It's very sweet. Especially if the songs remind you of that person. It's a very cool gesture :-)

I made mix cd for my husband (then b/f) for one of our anniversaries. It was great, we still love to listen to it! I personally think a mix is best because you can incorporate all aspects of a personality!
