I have a best friend and infact I call her my Nan as she is more like family to me. I know that I can go to her for advice and she is always there for a shoulder to cry on. I have moved away from home and left all my other friends behind as well, but she is the one who always keeps in touch and rings me every other day.
I did think I had other best friends but when I moved away I started to see their true colours. Some of them would just not talk to me and ignore me when in same room, others just say nasty remarks when I go home to visit.
True friends are hard to come by, but when you have one it's a friendship that can last forever

I have 3 people I call my best friends. They are everything, they are my family . they are 3 of the most amazing women I know and they help me become a better person as I do them. I have several close friends but these 3 are the ones I trust above all no questions asked.

Yes, I have a best friend. She means alot to me. She has been the source of inspiration for me. She has taught me how to be confident about the way I sing. I was a shy person , and only used to sing in the bathroom, but now I can step on stage and rock the show with full confidence. She has built in me the understanding of Indian culture, which I did not have that much before I met her. I love to wear Indian clothes and rarely chose to wear shirts and jeans.
So, she has helped me become a complete new person on the whole. I have learnt to love myself and she has contributed in that too.
Her name is Sneha Somy. But sadly, we are not friends anymore. I know its hard to believe but we bicker many times and this led to friction which really turned ugly one day , and from then on we hardly talk or even see our faces :(
But anyways, whether she knows it or not, she will always remain my best friend and I love her very much :)

i used to have a best male friend but we grew apart, after 10 years he left me and went away.
since then life doesn't mean the same although i moved on.
i can't even think of having a new best friend again, it just sounds so weird to me and i'm feeling sad about it;
apart from that i have a best female friend;
she's 30 now and we have known each other since 1981, the day i was born.
have a nice day!

She means the world to me!!! WE have known each other since I was 5 and we have never fought over anything. She is a true friend and that's hard to find these days. We live in separate states now, but we still talk everyday and spend the summer together!!!

I have several I guess, but one girl I've know since I was 9 !!!!!!!!
She's brilliant. Best friends mean everything because even if they're not perfect they know YOU. Even better than yourself, and you love them for it.
Lol it's like the friends theme tune when the song goes,
"It seems your the only one wo KNOWS - what it's like to be me."
I love that bit. A best friend knows exactly what it would be like to be you. And you them ! X

YES! She is my sista from anotha motha(and fatha:D). We talk to one another almost daily, even since she moved to Florida from New York. At least we're still in the same time zone. We've been friends closer than me and my own blood sister(whom I still love) since I was 16 and she was 18 about to be 19. I'm 29 and she's about to be 32. (GAH! And she STILL looks like she's 15! And she just had a baby! Lucky bum! :D)

Yes My Husband. He is the only person I can say anything to and not feel embarrassed about saying it. I also miss him dearly if i am way from him for a few days. We love being geeks together and I can't do that with my close female friends.
