If something is too good to be true it often is; you have no grantees with the phones, what could you do if they screwed up in like two months? By that time you would have already have left your feedback on eBay. You would not be covered via pay pal if you bought them off the EBay site. Another thing is that EBay are often slow and useless when there is a problem like the one, that could arise out of such a transaction. It would take forever to get your money back if you ever did and you would find tha you may have to do it through the small claims courts. What about if 4/5 of the phones are faulty. i highly recommend that you don't do it-

My fella was after a nokia n95 and we looked on ebay and there were a lot of these type of offers, but none let you go and collect them and pay cash. that is the only secure way you can count on and even then you do not know the origin of the phones. please be careful. try the cex shop (www.cex.co.uk) as they sell this phone for around £200-£300 depending on the condition you want and the network and you can try before you buy. also you can trade in old phones and get a good sum on trade in vouchers. My fella got a mint cond nokia n95 on orange plus a 2gb memory card for £280 and it is a recommended place to go. let me know how you get on? good luck

buying'off' ebay is not a good idea no option to leave feedback or pull up the sellers contact details

there is no way you can certainly protect yourself on ebay and paypal there are many loopholes in which a scammer can get hold of your £££'s

i always say if its too good to be true the it probably is why would he sell 30 phones worth £300 EACH for only £200 (for 30) it does not make any sense,

also if the phones are stolen you may just get a load of blacklisted blocked phones which would be totally usless do you have the item number??? so i can check it out

That eBay seller has probably phones made in China, which means they are NOT original. Once said that i should also mention that these copies are REALLY good. They have the same features as the original ones, and it is almost impossible to tell them apart from the original ones. Another way to go for you to go about this is you could order them direct from China. Then it is up to you to negotiate the price.
Good Luck!!

if you pay through paypal then you have buyer protection and if you pay with a credit card through paypal your card company will offer protection too, however paypal cant always recover all of which you have paid because if the seller emptys their account before you file a claim then paypal may be unable to get all your cash back - i would be very wary of people who claim to sell something like this - if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is. good luck
