Harlequin romances.
I generally prefer historical non-fiction or fantasy/sci-fi/mystery novels with strong female characters.
But I remember the old days when all I could afford were used Harlequin novels (10 for $1!) that I'd pick out of a bin. The plots were sappy, the male leads were Cro-Magnon, the women were virginal and weepy, everyone was a weenie all around.
But they occupied my mind while I waited for new books at the library. They satisfied my curiousity about male-female relationships, even though I now know they are pure drivel. I recall that naive ignorance and that pleases me at times.

sleeping in the nude
i cant do this since i still live with my parents but there have been times when they leave out of town and i am able to sleep comfortably like this
it is the most liberating experience ever!
