I am part of a volunteer search & rescue team & all of our forms that we use for reports, etc has been made using a regular PC & printer. However do to changes being made on who all needs copies of our reports, we need to be able to make 3 part carbon copy forms that way we can have the copies, without using a copy machine. Is there a way to make 3 part carbon copy forms myself using my computer, or would I have to go through a custom form printing shop?

First, you will need to order the needed forms in three part carbon or carbonless format. Carbon itself is just about obsolete, and you will probably find only carbonless (NCR) forms.

Then you will need either a dot-matrix or daisy wheel printer. These printers do not just 'surface print', but use mechanical means to print similar to the function of a typewriter. They exert physical force on the paper, thus activating the carbon feature of the forms.

You should be able to find one of the older dot matrix printers on eBay for a very reasonable price. The forms are what will cost the organization, since there are set up costs and minimum orders for such forms.
