Some of us will never truly know what we want to be when we grow up.
I'm turning 50 next week and in the middle of figuring out my next career move. With two different careers behind me now I'm on my way to a third.
My suggestion to those of you out there in college, decide what type of career that you would really enjoy, not what someone else wants you to do or what will make the most money. At the end of the day the extra TV or car in the garage isn't going to bring you happiness.

I am twelve years old, I am already working on my dream job, I want to be a Fashion Designer, I would love to be an actress, but that dream will be hard to acomplish since my parents are so protecting, the don't even know that if I was an actress, that my dream would be acheived! Well, yeah, that's my dream. (Modeling would be fun too, that was once a posibility too! But my dad HAD to turn down the offer.)

Paula Poundstone has a joke, why do adults ask children "what do you want to be when you grow up?". Answer: the adults are looking for a clue.

I'm one of those adults, I'm afraid I might die of old age before I grow up.

Game programmer; ever since I played my first game in the early 90s, I knew this was the thing I wanted to do in the future.

A casting director, I think it'd be fun to watch all the auditions for movies and roles, and getting to help decide who's going to be in the movie would awesome!

I want to be an actress. I absolutely love to act! Any job that lets me do what I love is the job for me. Either Broadway, Film, T.V., commercials, anything.
