yes, your ipod can work with 5 different machines you have to register them before you start transfering music of else it will erase your ipods music. to register you must do to your account type in your name and then edit your settings to include the computer that your on then you can freely exchange music !

Yes. Hymn comes to mind. Do a search. Also, if nothing works on the software side, you can always record it as it's playing, and then convert it to mp3 or something. You'll lose some quality, but that has never been a concern with me.
