Possible, but not likely. Cryogenic preservation uses a special solution in which the donor sperm are mixed; then the mixture is V E R Y slowly chilled, and finally stored in liquid nitrogen -which is about 350 degrees COLDER than your freezer. All very technical, precise and expensive.

If any of your supply remains viable, and you use it to become pregnant, there is a possibility you may have deformed children should any actually be born alive. It would probably be best to dispose of the material.

Haha, maybe, I know you can do it. If I were you and really wanted it frozen I would start by calling a sperm bank and asking them the best way to do this. You can tell the receptionist that your hubby is going off to war and you just want to make sure you have his sperm to have his kid if he doesn't make it back. It may help the receptionist give you a little more info then just calling and saying I want to freeze sperm. You can call as many as you want to get this info if the first few don't work out call sperm banks in states that are known for polite people, Georgia, Tennessee, Maine, etc...

No I dont think so. Freezing it in a normal freezer compared to the Ivf type would kill it. It would take too long to freeze and a house hold freezer wouldnt be cold enough.

I don't know if this is such a good idea. First of all you don't know under what conditions it should be frozen and kept. Then you're still stuck with the unfreezing proces. I'd turn to a facility that has experience with these things rather than trying to do it yourself.

Most importantly, is he aware that you did this?

I hope this is a joke. No it won't work! Why do you have your bf's sperm in a container? Does he know? Yuck!

What the hell? Do you want to blackmail him later if the relationship goes bad? If you want to get pregnant, work somethin out with him. You'd probably enjoy it more anyways

If I was him, I would've dumped you when I found out you were doin this
