Bullying happens everywhere. It does occur on this site aswell. And I agree with the person above who said that people use the ' report abuse ' button too much and too lightly, simply because they do not like the persons opinion, which I think is silly. People who bully are cowards who hide behind a PC screen, people that bully in life eg. Face to face, are even more than cowards - because they never bully alone. Only with a gang.

i think they are a lot a school boys and girls that at times do not like the answers they get and have multi user names and then set about reporting people or having a go at them with their many names.
some one can say something to you on here as a joke but they take it all the wrong way.
when you read some of the questions it is clear they is a lot a school babes on here.

it is sad but we need a adult play ground on yahoo, but then they are many better places then this to play then yahoo.

i think they are nasty people on here but not what i would call bullys this is the net not the real world anything that happens on here does not effect me in the real world.

if something did then that would be a diffrent kettle of fish

I don't know about bullying as such.

I have just recieved a lot of nasty mails becuase I had the audacity to say I think Harry Potter is a book for children and it concerns me slightly, the number of grown adults obsessed with it.

I suppose if I was a sensitive kind of person I would see this as bullying.

I do not think it does because you can block out the bully if you wish so you have a remedy to prevent or divert it.
Yes sometimes answers are rude which is sometimes thoroughly deserved. I think that their is more straight talking here than in most places. That can be interpreted as rude if you are on the wrong end

Last night, I went against what some racist fool in Iowa
said about muslims in his school. He responded : he hopes that my family will be blown to bits by a suicide bomber...!!?
What an intelligent conversation maker he must be.
Would he dare say that to my face ? Probably and what is sad he thinks his point is valid ! I've seen quite alot of very harsh racist remarks on this site and when you dare to go against what they're saying, you tend to get alot of hateful spiteful verbal garbage thrown back at you.
This site just reflects the racism which exists in our society. Unfortunately.
I have no problem reporting vulgar racist remarks. I don't believe this to be political correctness. It's just necessary because there is no place for blatant racism.

Oh Yes! there has been a real war going on recently on part of the site. Violations flying like confetti and answers decending to personal abuse ( i.e. no anser at all).

Yes, bullying happens on this Q&A site, however it is better than having an arm combat with anyone out there. Categorically, conflict that causes motivation is much better than conflict that causes an arm combat. Hopefully, you would agree with me.

Yes, there's a very nasty arrogant young man who's bated me on a few occasions, all because he doesn't like my point of view. Its usually the opposite of what he says. But I wont rise to it, I ignore him, and that makes him angrier. Silly young A$S.

yup, i read so much comments from the person who post a question addressed to the people who gave their answers... and most of the comments that person gives are very offenssive... totally mentioning the identity of the person they are attacking... so i think there is bulying here... i hope it would stop but i thinkits not possible.
