Hi!

I recently saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, which is the one with Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey in it and I had one question.

At the end, after Renee Zellweger escapes and is in the hospital talking to a sheriff, a lady is wheeled by on a gurney. I'm not sure why but Renee looks at the lady like she knows her so I figured she must be significant but the end credits show her as "anonymous" and I was wondering if anyone knows who she is. I'm probably reading way too much into it, but just in case.

Also, I've never seen the original (I know I shouldn't watch them out of order) so I don't know if she has something to do with the original or not.

Completely dumb question I'm sure, but it's kind of bugging me.

Thanks everyone in advance!

...naw, you're not reading too much into this, though the scene is significant, mainly to those folks who HAVE seen the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre".

The crazed looking lady being wheeled off in a gurney, and making quick, maniacal eye contact with Renee's character, is none other than an uncredited Marilyn Burns, the actress who played the lone survivor of the cannibalistic carnage, which took place in the original film; narrated prologues in all three of the previous films indicated that not only was she the last surviving sole of the carnage, but also at certain points, not depicted in any of the the previous movies, she was psychologically confined, sank into catatonia, and eventually passed away, out of fear and extreme mental imbalance.

...after experiencing the classic original, which I would most highly recommend, you'll most certainly understand why!!!

...on the cast list, at the webpage below, she IS listed, but as 'anonymous"
