I have a 91 Chevy Corsica (yea, a dinosaur but running pretty good...until now....). I had a tune up several months ago. All the wires and fluids were replaced then. I just had a leak in the breakline fixed at the same time. Ever since the car is riding fine. However, lately it does seem to be riding kinda rough again...age possibly?

Ok...when I parked my car in the driveway yesterday after driving it for about 20 minutes or so. After it was sitting in the driveway for about 10 minutes it started to leak from the front. I checked the oil and it was fine...possibly down a bit. I do know I have a head gasket leak...a small one. However, even with that my oil stays pretty full. I checked the coolant and it was fine. THe stain on the driveway did not have a color to it so I didn't expect to be coolant anyway. It did not leak overnight. I moved the car and the breaks seem to be fine...but I think break fluid leaked from the back anyway. So, I am confused...help!

From reading the responses on the head gasket...I don't think I have a leak there. I know the friend who gave my car a tune up said I had a small oil leak. A mechanic who fixed my breakline said he didn't find anything significant as far as an oil leak was concerned. So, I think I am not using the proper terminology. I really know nothing about cars...sorry! The car does not appear to be leaking now. However, the stain on the driveway did not evaporate...at least not yet...

Clear liquids in a car are break fluid, power steering fluid, and water. If the puddle evaporated don't worry about it. If it didn't you might have a power steering leak starting.
If you have a bad head gasket get it fixed or start saving for your next car.

First all of my friend....you don't get a 'small' leak from a head gasket....it's like being a 'bit' pregnant. If you've got a head gasket leak you shouldn't be driving at all without the risk of serious and probably terminal damage.

Does your Corsica have AC? It may be condensation from the AC unit. Your other possibilies are limited; coolant, engine oil, power steering oil, brake/clutch fluid, gasoline and trans/axle fluids.
