Differece between love marriage n arranged marriage?

2. Just because a marriage is arranged does not mean that the two people do not love each other

My guess is that with a love marriage you choose the person you want to spend the rest of your life with AFTER you meet them, befriend them and fall in love. An arranged marriage is different in that your decisions are generally made for you. You may have an opportunity to choose from a catalogue of men/women but at the end of the day it is forced upon you and there is no element of romance or love involved. Well, that is my opinion...................I could be wrong. I have had a love marriage and happily so for going on 19 years. I also know a lot of people who have had arranged marriages and have been as happy as I have been in my love marriage.

Love can exist in both. One is based on your family picking what's best for you with out your eyes and hormones getting in the way. The other is based first on hormones and second on love. I think both can be just as happy. Love has so many sides to it. Love has to be built. Although if your marriage isn't arranged you have to deal with your family and friends not liking the person and if your marriage is arranged I hope there wasn't someone else that had your heart or you may always wonder what if?

Love : to give everything (whatever you have) without expecting anything in return.
Marriage : To share everything whatever you have expecting in return.
Love marriage : It is contradiction . Love marriage means love and marriage combined.So the definition of love and marriage changes because love is to give without expecting and marriage is to share with some expectation.
Hence if marriage succeeds then you start expecting because of which love reduces which causes breakups ,divorce
and if love increases then the life is beautiful and everywhere you find happiness .
Arranged marriage : Arrange means settlement .Arranged marriage means settlement and sharing with some expectations.
Hence , life is with satisfaction and full of happiness as there is a settlement.
The only way life is miserable, if someone feels cheated .

It is just a pattern of thinking..nothing beyond that. Do you think In love marriage love always prevail or in arrange marriage it does not. You are a victim of your past memories. Come out of that. Truth is that you are getting into marriage not. Love maariage or not..you need to lead a life together. Your prior life never helps in making it a success. You have always work for it. So why bother...?

Arranged marriage , the parents arrange their children to be married together.
A love marriage, the two people meet ,start dating & fall in love then decide together to get married.The parents of the bride & groom , decide for their son & daughter, in an arranged marriage.

When you love someone you want to be with them, you share some of the same things, you can't think of your life without that person.
When the marriage is arranged you have to get to know that person, and it might be someone that you have nothing in common with. You might learn to love them, and have a good life with them, but it is not someone that you would have chosen for yourself.
