sold something that required collection and the last contact i had from the buyer was them telling me they paid through paypal and to phone in the evening to arrange collection.

i replied saying "thanks for payment, can be collected any day this week but phone the day before to arrange time"

didnt hear anything for a week and then i contacted them again askign them to call to arrange collection.

still not heard anything and its 3 weeks since the auction ended

i dont feel like it is my responsibility to arrange them picking it up after the emails i sent them. do you agree?? would you say it is buyers or sellers responsibility to phone to sort collection times out?

If an item is collection only it's the buyer's responsibility. If you've been paid don't worry about it but keep checking your emails to make sure they are not attempting to open a item not received dispute against you.

Dont know where anybody gets the idea the proof of postage removes all responsibility onto the buyer IT DONT (there are at least 3 dumb voters out there) Its the sellers responsibility to ensure the buyer receives it. so its up to you to chase it (and it dont matter WHAT ebay say about it)

If he paid you through paypal check with paypal- he cannot pay you that way unless you have set up an account. the money goes directly into your account. If for some reason this did not happen and he won the bid but did not pay you can re list it at no charge- contact eBay

It's whatever was agreed in the first place, could be "buyer collects" or "vendor sends". In this case it seems you arranged that the buyer should collect, so it's down to him/her to do so.

I suspect, though, that they've probably welshed on the deal; probably they ain't paid, either.

I would say its the buyers responsibility. You have emailed them. I would just await their response.
Maybe they are on holiday or their computer is not working!!
I am sure they will get in touch eventually as they have paid for the item.

If they've paid you - it's certainly their responsibility to make arrangements. Did you phone them as requested?

No worries for you until they call when you've scheduled to go out of town ... :x

Of course its not your reponsibility. If you bought something marked collection only, you'd sort it yourself.

Email them and tell them to collect within the next week, or you will refund their payment and relist the item.
