alrite my new laptop has an intel 950gm family chipset and ive assigned 128mb in the bios so does that mean that it will assign that amount to my games or if not what do i have to do?

Yes, it means the video chip has 128MB of your system memory to use. It's that simple.

128Mb system RAM will be used as videoram. Depending on the game, it may use part or all of it. BUT the thing is that the 128Mb is already allocated and always available as videoram.
