Why are people complaining about the Sydney transport(buses,ferries,trains)system.I use it all the time and have no problems at all.If people are complaing about the transport running late,why don't they just get up 5 or 10 minutes earler,or move closer to work!

i had a holiday there & the transport was fantastic so much so i rang brisbanes city council & told them they should get a good transport system like sydney that was back in 2000
its a great city also i think

I travel with Murrays all the time. I make the bus trip from Canberra to Sydney at least 8 times a year. I travelled Greyhound a couple of years ago and they were too cheap to pay the toll on the motorways and this added at least an extra 45 mins to the trip! They may have changed their minds since then, I hope so :). One thing you might want to keep in mind also is that the Bus Station is right on the edge of Canberra's CBD, you can walk into Civic in less than 5 minutes and the one and only train station is a bit further out and you would either need to catch a bus or taxi into town where all the action is. Something to think about if you won't have access to a car or an obliging local who will drive you everywhere
