I made 29 last week and ever since summer vacation started I haven't made over 32. Someone told me that I can get unemployment? How does this work? And can I collect for the past weeks? I was hired full time? I am used to 40 +

Has anyone claimed this unemployment for less hours?

In MA.

Thanks.

Varies state to state but generally what you earn is deducted from what the unemployment check would be. Seldom does it work out in favor of the individual.

that is not likely which you would be able to assemble unemployment once you're presently working 32 hours a week. Your hours and pay have not been severely decrease. A 25% alleviation in hours is seen a substantial alleviation. persons that assemble partial reward ought to seem for finished time paintings and be waiting and prepared to settle for a job with yet another organization. they can't assemble partial reward and stay of their modern interest indefinitely. Partial unemployment reward at the instant are not meant to assist employers hold workers.

Some states offer that for union workers. Thanks for reminding me how much unions cost so early in the morning.
