I frickin LOVE Type O. Seriously, I'm the idiot who is 25 years old and has peter steele as my "who i'd like to meet" on my myspace profile, lol. to lovnrockets (looove the name by the way) you are absolutely dead on with the discussion of covers. i truly think type o's cover of cinnamine girl is better than the origional. i;m sure you know "hey peter" was based on jimmi hendrix's "hey joe" but i think its pretty incredible.
i do also agree that "dead again" isn't the ebst cd I've ever heard. I saw them in april and it just wasn't the same band i flip out over every other time...but i was still super girly and drooling over the big P.S. the whole time!

Yes, they are in my personal top ten list of favorite bands of all time. How much do I like them? Put it this way, I usually hate when bands do cover songs. However, Type O has the unique ability to make them better than the original version. Two examples, Cinnamon Girl and Summer Breeze. To take a lame *** soft rock 70's tune like SB, you have to be great. One more thing, I just love My Girlfriend's Girlfriend, that just needs a lot more airplay.

O negative means you are a universal donor, your blood can be given to anybody, the blood clinics love you. The downside is if you get into an accident and need whole blood transfusion only another O- can give you blood, and that is roughly only 6% of the population. You are blessed to have a rare blood type, which can help lots of people so make sure you go and donate.

I have been a fan since 2000. Got introduced to Type O and Dio by a crazy ex-boyfriend. This experience in my life became a prime example of take what you want and leave the rest. Got rid of him, kept the music. I love the music, love Peter s voice and his sense of humor which seemed to be hard for people to get at times. By the way, he was really hot too.

I saw Type O Negative over 10 years ago, when they opened for Motley Crue....Theirs (Type O's) was the worst performance I ever saw at a live show...I didn't know they were still around...is their recent stuff better than the early years? I can't believe this band is still around...I'm heading to their website for a listen...now I'm curious!
