WHAT happened to the televising of our NATIONAL ANTHEM..?

What happened is greed and political correctness. The time is used for advertising and promotions. We as an advanced culture do not want to insult or offend the many cultures that have come to this once great nation. Illegally or otherwise. As a population we accept blindly what our politicians tell us. Face it. We just don't care about the National Anthem or anything strictly American. We cow tow to every group that says they have been offended. These groups have been allowed to get so large that their money makes a difference. Bottom line, if you offend them, they won't watch or buy.
It may be too late to bring the customs and traditions of America back. Complacency leads to domination. We have arrived.
Remember "There ain't no time to think about draining the swamp when you're up to your butt in alligators".

For the most part television is using that time for commercial breaks and they come back as the game starts. The National Anthem is still there, we just don't see it.

Unfortunately, the almighty dollar is more worshiped by the networks then the country that allows them to make the big bucks. Try to catch Cubs games on WGN, they almost always show the anthem being sung, usually by Wayne Messmer.
