What possible business sense does this serve?
I would never do business with Yahoo because of this atrocity.

You know that is the only reason I set up a Gmail account is because the reputation here was that it took next to nothing to get shut down without notice. I really think including this with yahoo accounts in general is bad business on their part, but this isn't the only email company in town, is it? And punishing people elsewhere on Yahoo for things done here is down right foolish. The people will take their money elsewhere and spend it with competing merchants, won't they? Not a wise move on Yahoo's part.

I was suspended because i think someone took a dislike to me. All yahoo have to do is check my questions and they will see i`ve done nothing wrong. Lost nearly 4000 points. P.S. I`m looking for my friend Graydon i think he has been suspended too.

I wrote a letter to a national news correspondent in regards to this. I told them that my network of contacts and friends had an interesting group of tales to tell.

sometimes i get the feeling it's automatic. (like on auto pilot) someone gets a couple of violations and Y!A automatically sends violations or deletes.
i think that's why some things go through a second time. someone reported it the first time but no one did the second time.

i think yahoo is nothing but an insecure entity that desperately wants to CONTROL everybody here!

EDIT: you're lucky that your question made it to the list even their name is on it! while i on the other hand is forbidden to ask questions mentioning yahoo, violations, suspensions etc etc etc! i just hope you won't get reported by this! good luck!

They are trying (pitifully) to make this site family friendly, and in doing so often go way overboard with deletions, suspensions, etc.
