Changing schools on a regular basis can be very hard for a child. Not all schools are on the same academic level and teach subjects at different levels. It can make a child resent school. As for a 9 year old's reading abilities, they should be able to pick up a book and read it without difficulty.

Hie Skittles. Well to me it is bad that when a child who is 9 years old keep s changing school.

1. Changing school reguuarly.

Well the child might have a lot of effects towards this, because when a child keeps changing he will find difficulties in his studies on whereby different teachers teaches different methods and the child will have difficulties in cooping with the studies over there, besides it it could not be suitable with him to the envoirement of the school and it will have difficulties in making friends, at this particular age it is the best time for them to learn a lot so that it could be easier during their age of 10.

2. Cannot Read

Well this is something simple to solve for the kid, well in the age of 9 it is not bad for the child cannot read, because at this particular age is the learning step for the child, for the child to improve in the reading, there are many steps to do it, but here are some tips that can really help your child to read and be fluent with the words.

a) Every day after he finishes his school work or his chores then get him a lot of story books.

b) Every Day it is good for the child to read at least one page a day, well at first it will be difficult for him to read fluently but ask the child to read out and not through the heart, so from that way when he has practice it then it will be improvement in it.

c) When he has done it then try to ask the child to read it in front of you, well there will be a broken of words on here and there, but that is fine and try to rectify his mistakes. So he could learn.

d) When he is able to read then it is good for you to treat him to something nice, maybe buy his favorite meal or take him to a place that the child loves a lot or you can buy the child's favorite toy..

Try this and hope it might help you..................

ALL THE BEST.......................

i dont think changing schools has too much of an effect on them when they are nine years old.

but not being able to read by nine years old is bad but not a hopeless situation. just make sure u read to them. anything. read the cereal box, read the milk box, the back of a dvd case the newspaper. anything. this will help because it will show the child you care about their reading levels and it will help them at the same time.

school kids can be very cruel at that age when kids dont know how to read so i would definitely make the reading practice a priority. hope this helps. good luck!

I changed school regularly when I was a kid and if anything it gave me the ability to make friends very easily and made me very flexible as an adult.

Yes it is bad if a child of nine cannot read. I suggest you look at getting them screened for dyslexia.

my neice changed schools not long ago and she is 10. and it was the best thing for her, but let me say this she wasnt going very well at her old school and didnt have many friends, so if son/daughter is going well then i dont think it would be the best thing for your child..... i'm a reading teacher at a local primary school in my area and there are some kids that are in year 6 that cant read very well. but there are programs that they can do like home reader, ask for a reading teacher maybe talk to your school on what they offer in that area (reading).
its not a bad thing after you child seeing a reading teacher they may be able to tell you weather he may have diclexia or be able to tell you whats holding him back
goodluck with everything :)

perfect... If I wwere you, i ought to advise tot he college that she is given a 'pal' to help her around the school and defend her, and that if she isn't helped rapidly, then make sparkling which you will pull her out and hit upon her a sparkling college! i ought to then sit down down with your daughter, and make sparkling to her what's going to ensue and reassure her that it rather is high-quality. in case you do finally finally end up shifting her to a sparkling college or consistent with threat her old college, sit down down her down and make sparkling that no longer all faculties are as undesirable as her old one, and that she should not be located off college via making use of a few 'idiots'! want each and each and each thing gets known after
